THE 10 BEST SONGS FOR 2020

The year 2020 undoubtedly has new musical surprises in store for us. But this first semester marked by the health crisis has already been rich in hits and artistic compositions of all kinds. Here is the list - subjective - of the 10 songs which marked these last six months.

1-«BLACK PARADE», BEYONCÉ

Queen B. unveiled the track "Black Parade" which she co-wrote and co-produced on June 19, the day of Juneteenth which commemorates the effective end of slavery in the United States. Profits go to black entrepreneurs.

2-«SI BIEN DU MAL», HERVÉ

During confinement, he put on a show in his kitchen by making pancakes in slippers. “Si bien du mal” appears on the playlist of the artist's debut album, “Hyper”, released on June 19. Before going solo, this new nugget of the French scene was part of the Postaal group. It was revealed thanks to his EP, “Mélancolie F.C”, released in 2019, with the title “Cœur poids plume”.

3-«HALLUCINATE», DUA LIPA

After "Don't Start Now", "Physical" or "Break my Heart" which make up the album "Future Nostalgia", the British singer is a hit with her new song, always so rhythmic and catchy. And we love the clip which features Dua Lipa in an animated version.

4-«MURDER MOST FOUL», BOB DYLAN

Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, the American singer unveiled this seventeen-minute track, evoking the assassination of the President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. It is part of the album "Rough & Rowdy Ways", released on June 19th. The first for eight years.

5-«MAIS JE T’AIME», CAMILLE LELLOUCHE and GRAND CORPS MALADE

The actress, singer and comedian wrote the text a few years ago. The slammer was immediately won over. The result is a soft, moving melody full of love carried by a sober and uncluttered clip.

6-«NOS CÉLÉBRATIONS», INDOCHINE

Recorded in November and December 2019, between London and Brussels, this title will be followed by the release of two albums which will bring together all the singles of Nicola Sirkis' group since its creation in 1981. The first disc, called "Singles Collection 2001-2021" , will be released on August 28. As for the second, "Singles Collection 1981-2001", it will be unveiled on November 27.

7-«RAIN ON ME» LADY GAGA, FEAT. ARIANA GRANDE

On a perfectly calibrated choreography, the two stars provide the show and sign a pop dance piece that should be among the hits of the summer (and this, even if the nightclubs are still closed). "Rain On Me" is taken from Lady Gaga's sixth album, "Chromatica".

8-«LA FIÈVRE», JULIEN DORÉ

It is with a hero carrying a globe on his head that the 38-year-old singer returns to talk to us about an ecological emergency. After a long absence, Julien Doré tells us the story of this world which "has changed and some vertebrae moved". Her new album "Aimée" will be released on September 4th.

9-«FEEL THE BEAT», THE BLACK EYED PEAS FEAT. MALUMA

Taken from their brand new album "Translation", this track recorded with the Latin music star proves that the Black Eyed Peas have taken a new turn this year and devotes a cult to reggaeton hits.

10-«ONE MORE YEAR», TAME IMPALA

Australian Kevin Parker, who signs his artistic proposals under the band name Tame Impala, returned earlier this year with a hovering fourth album "The Slow Rush", including the almost hypnotic electro pop composition "One more year".
